Friern Barnet N11

The Housing in Friern Barnet typically consists of late Victorian and early Edwardian properties as well as other large houses from later periods and many smaller semi-detached and terraced houses. Much of the property is owner-occupied, but in recent years many of the larger properties have been subdivided into flats. There are also some areas of modern housing, notably Princess Park Manor, a luxury redevelopment. Closest tube is Arnos Grove and New Southgate Railway.

Friern Barnet N11

Friern Village adjacent to Princess Park Manor is a modern housing development called Friern Village. This was once the area farmed by the Colney Hatch Hospital residents. In 1998 the newly formed local residents' association held a ballot amongst the new residents to find a name for this new area. The name Friern Village was chosen and subsequently the resident's association changed its name to The Friern Village Residents' Association. A new public park in front of Princess Park Manor, Friern Barnet Road, was also named Friern Village Park.

New Southgate N11

New Southgate the postcode area N11 which includes parts of Arnos Grove, Bounds Green and Friern Barnet, as well as New Southgate. The area is served by New Southgate railway station and Arnos Grove tube station. It is also served by a multitude of buses in all directions, including the primary route A406 North Circular Road. The area consists of beautiful parkland lots of schools and excellent transport links going into the city.
 

Arnos Grove N11

Arnos Grove sits close to Enfield's borders with two other boroughs: Barnet and Haringey. One of the main features of Arnos Grove is Arnos Park (44 acres). Arnos Grove Underground tube Piccadily line zone 4 will set you to city within 20mins. It consists of great schools and a strong sense of local community. The junction most commonly associated with Arnos Grove is a crossroads between Bowes Road, Wilmer Way and Telford Road.

Southgate N14

Southgate is a suburban area of north London, England, primarily within the London Borough of Enfield, although parts of its western fringes lie within the London Borough of Barnet. Southgate tube station Piccadily Line zone 4. The surrounding roads have a variety of shops and restaurants including an ASDA. The area has several large green parks. such as Grovelands Park.

East Finchley N2

East Finchley is an area in the London Borough of Barnet, in north London. Housing in East Finchley is diverse in its nature, encompassing many housing styles, from 19th-century terraced housing and 1960s council estates to large 30's houses to multi-million pound mansions on The Bishops Avenue. The three eleven-storey tower blocks of Prospect Ring, near to the centre of East Finchley, are visible for miles around. Finchley Central N3

Finchley Central is an area of north London, England, in the London Borough of Barnet. Finchley central is on high ground. The residential areas West Finchley, in postcode district N3, and Woodside Park, in postcode district N12, centre on their respective tube stations to the west of the area. Between East Finchley and Finchley Central is Long Lane, which runs parallel to the tube line which is dotted with small shopping parades. Finchley central tube station Northern Line Zone 4. North Finchley N12

North Finchley is a suburb of London in the London Borough of Barnet. North Finchley is centred on Tally Ho Corner, the junction of the roads to East Finchley, Church End, Friern Barnet and Whetstone. It is primarily a residential and shopping area, with several supermarkets, schools, bus links and many restaurants. The arts depot, a local community arts centre including a gallery, a studio and a theatre, opened on October 23, 2004, in an attempt to revitalise the area and to fill a gap created by the demolition of the Gaumont cinema, and what had become an open air market.

Woodside Park N12

Woodside Park is located in the London Borough of Barnet, in postal district N12. The area to the east of the tube station consists predominantly of large Victorian and Edwardian houses, many of which have been converted into flats. It also contains Woodside Park Synagogue and a Jewish school. The western and north-western part of the area, which can also be regarded as the part of Totteridge in N12 rather than N20, is sometimes called Woodside Park Garden Suburb and consists of semi-detached or detached 3 to 4 bedroom houses built in the 1950s. Barnet EN5

Barnet is an area in the London Borough of Barnet, England. It is a suburban development built around a 12th-century settlement. High Barnet Station is on the Northern line while New Barnet railway station is on the East Coast Main Line served by services from King's Cross and Moorgate to Welwyn Garden City. The area consists of beautiful parkland lots of schools and excellent transport links going into the city. High Barnet Northern Line zone 5.

Winchmore Hill N21

Winchmore Hill is a district in the Borough of Enfield, north London, in the N21 postal district. Govia Thameslink Railway provide services on the electrified railway line that runs from Hertford North through Winchmore Hill station into London. This line connects further south to the tube system at Finsbury Park, Highbury and Islington, Old Street and Moorgate, where it terminates. After 22:00 and on weekends trains run directly to London King's Cross, rather than to Moorgate. The nearest London Underground station is at Southgate, which is on the Piccadilly line.

Totteridge N20

Totteridge is an old English village, currently a protected picturesque residential area of the London Borough of Barnet in North London, England. It is a mixture of suburban development and open land (including some farmland). The nearest tube station is Totteridge and Whetstone Northern line Zone 4 on Totteridge Lane. Both bus routes 251 and 326 stop outside the station, on either side of Totteridge Lane. An acclamation which can be credited to Totteridge Lane, a long road home to many multi-millionaires.

Whetstone N20

Whetstone is a place in the London Borough of Barnet, bearing the postcode N20. It is to the east of Totteridge, and these areas are known together as Totteridge & Whetstone. This combined area is the 63rd richest area in the UK. An acclamation which can be credited to Totteridge Lane, a long road home to many multi-millionaires. Totteridge and whetstone Northern Line Zone 4.

Muswell Hill N10

Muswell Hill is a suburb of north London, mostly in the London Borough of Haringey. Muswell Hill is in the N10 postal district. Close to Alexandra Park and Highgate Woods, Muswell Hill is a mainly Edwardian north London suburb. Muswell Hill Broadway and Fortis Green Road, the main shopping streets, still maintain their historic character with most of the original facades preserved above street level. The area has a synagogue and six churches, one of which has been converted into a pub. Some parts have fine views over London. At the top of a hill, Muswell Hill is not directly served by a tube station but several bus routes connect to the West End and the City.

Highgate N6

Highgate is a suburban area of north London at the north-eastern corner of Hampstead Heath. Highgate is one of the most expensive London suburbs in which to live. At its centre is Highgate village, a collection of largely Georgian shops, pubs, restaurants and residential streets, interspersed with diverse landmarks such as St Michael's Church and steeple, St. Joseph's Church and its green copper dome, Highgate School, Jacksons Lane arts centre housed in a Grade II listed former church, the Gatehouse Inn dating from 1670 and Berthold Lubetkin's 1930s Highpoint buildings. Highgate is also famous for its atmospheric Victorian cemetery in which the Communist philosopher Karl Marx is buried.

Hampstead NW3

Hampstead commonly known as Hampstead Village, is an area of London, England. It is known for its intellectual, liberal, artistic, musical and literary associations and for Hampstead Heath, a large, hilly expanse of parkland. It has some of the most expensive housing in the London area. The village of Hampstead has more millionaires within its boundaries than any other area of the United Kingdom. The nearest London Underground stations are Hampstead and Belsize Park on the Northern line and Swiss Cottage and Finchley Road on the Jubilee line. The stations are within Travelcard Zone 2. Hampstead is the boundary with Travelcard Zone 3.
